PSV Reaches Agreement with Rangers FC for Transfer of Couhaib Driouech
PSV Eindhoven has reached an agreement with Rangers FC to transfer winger Couhaib Driouech for €8 million, reports De Telegraaf. According to transfer journalist Mounir Boualin from SoccerNews, PSV will receive €8 million for the player.
Medical and Contract in Scotland
Driouech is set to undergo his medical examination in Scotland, after which he will sign a contract until mid-2030. Rangers FC has secured Driouech's transfer for €8 million, beating both Celta Vigo and Red Bull Salzburg.
End of Driouech's Time at PSV
Driouech's time at PSV is coming to an end. The club signed him from Excelsior two years ago for around €3.5 million, but he never managed to secure a regular starting place.
Ruben van Bommel's return has reduced Driouech's chances of playing regularly. Ivan Perisic can also play on the left, limiting Driouech's opportunities under Peter Bosz.
PSV's Fourth Summer Departure
Driouech is the fourth player to leave PSV this summer. Ismael Saibari's €53 million move to Bayern Munich was the biggest transfer, while Joël Drommel and Sami Bouhoudane also raised smaller sums.
Stewart Remains Active on the Transfer Market
Stewart, the technical director of PSV, is not finished with summer transfers. He is currently working on a departure for Adamo Nagalo, and Ricardo Pepi could still secure a move.
