PSV Eindhoven's left-winger Couhaib Driouech is heading to Manchester for a medical examination before joining Rangers. The transfer is pending finalization. This news gives a positive boost to the club after Youssef Chermiti’s injury and recent poor results.
Driouech, who spoke with Mounir Boualin in Amsterdam before his departure, is enthusiastic about his move to Rangers. He said: 'I'm looking forward to the medical examination and hope everything goes well so I can put my signature on the dotted line.'
'I've heard really good stories about the Rangers supporters. I’m looking forward to experiencing them in the stadium,' he added.
He will get his first taste of that experience when Rangers take on Jagiellonia Bialystok in the Europa League on Thursday, although he can't be registered to play. If all goes well, Couhaib Driouech should make his debut for Rangers against St. Mirren in the League Cup on Sunday, but we await confirmation of the deal and its completion.
