PSV Eindhoven is dominant in the Vriendenloterij Eredivisie, with three consecutive league titles as ultimate proof of the successful football vision in the south of the country. Success comes with a price, as it seems that several big names will leave Eindhoven this summer. There is therefore work to be done at the Philips Stadion for coach Peter Bosz and technical director Earnest Stewart to come up with a top selection again in the Netherlands and the Champions League. Stewart used around 60 million euros of the transfer budget last summer to thoroughly strengthen every line of PSV. 20 million euros of that was reserved for attackers Ruben van Bommel and Alassane Pléa, who due to persistent injuries only played a minor role in Bosz's selection. Mid-season acquisition Myron Boadu did not meet expectations as a deep striker and is on the verge of leaving again, and Romanian acquisition Dennis Man is not yet undisputed under Bosz as a right-wing attacker. Matej Kovar received criticism last season, but that was internally at PSV falling on deaf ears. The Czech goalkeeper was definitively taken over from Bayer Leverkusen for between five and seven million euros in the winter break and does not have to fear competition from Nick Olij. Yarek Gasiorowski and Paul Wanner, for whom a total of 25 million euros was paid, have been relatively quietly incorporated into PSV's starting lineup. Kiliann Sildillia came into prominence at the end of the season on the right-back position and seems to be a player for the future. The significant investments in the summer of 2025 yielded PSV another league title, the 27th in the club's history. The adventure in the Champions League ended despite the ambitions already after the group stage. Additionally, the dreamed double was definitively crossed out after the embarrassing 3-2 defeat against NEC in the semi-finals of the Eurojackpot KNVB Beker. A new transfer summer is approaching, and Voetbalzone looks at the most important choices that Bosz and Stewart have to make. The priority seems to be to replace the departing players, who due to various clauses may leave the reigning champion for a certain amount. Find a replacement for Joey Veerman. Joey Veerman can leave PSV for an amount between 20 and 25 million euros. After four successful seasons in Eindhoven, and with the status of Dutch top player, it seems time for a foreign adventure. Last season, there was already an agreement with Fenerbahçe, which nonetheless did not do business with PSV. Brentford has already passed by and recently it became known that the Volendammer is being followed by Inter. Veerman does not play in the World Cup with the Dutch national team and cannot put himself in the spotlight extra. Yet Veerman, a fan of the game in Serie A and LaLiga, seems to be leaving PSV behind definitively soon. In the Eredivisie, several options seem to be available in the search for a replacement for Veerman. Sven Mijnans led AZ to the final victory in the Eurojackpot KNVB Beker and is, according to Valentijn Driessen and several other analysts, good enough to make the step to the Dutch top. The tireless Kodi Sano had a dream season with number three NEC and has already appeared on the Eindhovense radar. A stumbling block is perhaps that
