PSV Eindhoven goalkeeper Joël Drommel is a target for FC Twente. Transfer journalist Mounir Boualin reports that FC Twente has approached PSV for the keeper. Drommel is behind Matej Kovár and Nick Olij in the pecking order at PSV. Last season, PSV loaned him out to Sparta Rotterdam, where he had an excellent campaign. FC Twente is looking for a new keeper and has already shown interest in Kayne van Oevelen and Jeffrey de Lange. FC Twente has not yet made an official bid for Drommel, but would be willing to buy him. Drommel would be open to a return to FC Twente. Drommel still has a contract with PSV Eindhoven until mid-2027. The club is currently first in the Eredivisie, with 74 points from 30 games, and has a 19-point lead over Feyenoord. PSV Eindhoven plays at home against FC Twente on February 14, 2027. Jerdy Schouten is currently injured. NEC also wanted Drommel, but only on loan. Olympique Marseille has already rejected two bids from FC Twente for Jeffrey de Lange. Jasper Schendelaar is also an option for FC Twente, but the preference currently lies with Drommel and De Lange.
