Rangers Transfer Gossip: Diomande, Nedeljkovic, and More
Rangers are reportedly considering transfers for several players including Mohamed Diomande, Kosta Nedeljkovic, Nick Pope, and others. The Scottish club is set to move Mohamed Diomande to Turkish Super Lig club Corum for a fee of around £4.5m, with the 24-year-old midfielder expected to travel to Istanbul on Monday for medical checks and contract talks.
Corum has made an official offer of £4.8m to Rangers for Mohamed Diomande, while Celtic have joined Ipswich Town in monitoring the situation over 34-year-old goalkeeper Nick Pope's future with Newcastle United. The bid rejected by Rangers for striker Youssef Chermiti was from Galatasaray for £22m, which would have been a club record sale.
Rangers are also exploring a deal for 20-year-old Aston Villa right-back Kosta Nedeljkovic on a season-long loan. The transfer target Couhaib Driouech has been left out of PSV Eindhoven's Eredivisie opener against Fortuna Sittard due to fitness issues, as Rangers look to strike a £7m deal.
PSV Eindhoven and Rangers Transfer Discussions
PSV Eindhoven head coach Peter Bosz insists Couhaib Driouech was left out of their Eredivisie opener against Fortuna Sittard due to lack of fitness. Rangers remain in talks with PSV Eindhoven over a deal for the 24-year-old winger, with Burnley and Celta Vigo also interested.
After having a £6m bid rejected, Rangers are still considering taking Couhaib Driouech from PSV Eindhoven on a season-long loan. The transfer negotiations include discussions of a £7m deal, but Driouech's fitness remains a concern for the Ibrox club.
