A quiet day for Bayern Munich, PSV Eindhoven on Ismael Saibari
FC Bayern and PSV Eindhoven need to hash some things out.
After Tuesday's flurry of activity, Wednesday saw a slowdown in transfer discussions. However, this does not mean that Bayern Munich’s interest in Moroccan international Ismael Saibari is cooling down. There was no direct contact between the two clubs today, but it is expected that negotiations will resume at a later date.
PSV Eindhoven expects a substantial fee to be paid for Saibari, which adds complexity to the deal. All parties involved are confident that an agreement can be reached, but time and money remain key factors. The biggest obstacle in this transfer process is the two sides agreeing on a fair transfer fee. Some reports suggest that Bayern Munich might start its bidding at €46 million.
While not a direct roadblock, it is also a question of where Saibari fits into Bayern’s long-term plans. His current position and role within the team are still being evaluated to ensure he can contribute effectively upon joining.
