PSV Eindhoven loans Tygo Land to FC Groningen again. The 20-year-old midfielder from Peize will be loaned out to FC Groningen for another year.
What happened?
Tygo Land went through the youth academy of SC Heerenveen and made the switch to Eindhoven at a young age. To gain experience, he was already loaned out to FC Groningen last season.
After a difficult start, with few minutes, Land played himself into the base team. This was partly because Tika de Jonge and Stije Resink were injured in succession.
Why is this important for PSV Eindhoven?
'Bij PSV is de concurrentie op het middenveld moordend en Tygo heeft in mijn ogen nog wel wat stapjes te zetten', gaf Lukkien afgelopen voorjaar al aan tegenover Voetbal International. Lukkien was referring to the midfielder's play when he doesn't have the ball.
