PSV Eindhoven midfielder Joey Veerman is open to a transfer to Borussia Dortmund, seeing a fantastic option at the German club. Veerman has already stated that he is not a fan of a transfer to England, but he sees Dortmund as a good option. 'If it comes to that, this would be a great option for me', he said. Veerman played again in the starting lineup of PSV Eindhoven and showed his quality with a through ball that led to the opening goal of Ruben van Bommel. PSV Eindhoven currently stands 11th in the Eredivisie, with 1 point and 0 wins, 1 draw and 0 losses from 1 game. They are 2 points behind the leaders Excelsior. PSV Eindhoven has a home game against Twente next week, who currently stands 14th in the Eredivisie. Veerman can leave until 20 August for a fee of around 20 million euros. He said that he doesn't have to wait long to see what happens. 'You do hear certain things, but it's not yet the case that I'm playing football there', he said. Veerman is currently 27 years old and has played for PSV Eindhoven for five years. He has won eight trophies in that time and is extremely happy with his time at the club. 'I've had five very nice years. Let me think: I think I've won eight trophies. It has definitely been a fantastic time and I'm hugely enjoying myself here', he said. Veerman said that he doesn't want PSV Eindhoven to wait too long if they want to let him leave. 'They need to get a move on if they want me that badly', he said.
