What happened in the 1978 UEFA Cup final?

PSV Eindhoven won the 1978 UEFA Cup final against SC Bastia with a score of 3-0. The first match in Bastia ended in a 0-0 tie, which made for an exciting second match in Eindhoven. In a thrilling and evenly matched game, PSV achieved a 3-0 victory thanks to goals from Willy van de Kerkhof, Gerrie Deijkers, and Willy van der Kuijlen.

The 1999 Champions League semi-final

PSV's European adventure did not always have a smooth course. The 1998-99 Champions League semi-final against Manchester United is an excellent example of dramatic twists.
